There’s a big sign on the wall in here:

(I love wrapping up… it’s very freeing, don’t you think?)

“Did you say freeing – or freezing?  Look!”

Ooh, look at these fake ice walls.

“There is a bit of a chill, though,” complains Isobel.

I guess there is.  I wish I’d gone to the toilet now… how are you holding up?

Over here… three more doors to choose from.  But no numbers, this time.

“Are these Christmas film titles, written on the doors?”

I think they are.

There’s a screen in the wall where an actor appears – oh, is she going to mime for us.

“It’s charades!”

Ah.  I never was very good at this game… but I’ll do my best.

Do you remember how to play charades?  Okay.  Here we go.

So, if she holds her hand clenched and rolls this one in a forwards circle… is that the right way to start?

Yes… film… so… we know we’ve got to work out the film.  Good… that’s what we thought.

And then hold up four fingers, like this?

Okay?  Got that?

One finger up.

First word... short word.  ‘A’… or ‘The’?  Moving on.

She held up more fingers then… was it three or four?

Two fingers on the biceps.

Now, holding hands together… making a very pointy triangle… a pyramid?  No….

Unwrapping presents… is that… Christmas?  Is Christmas one of the words?

(Yes, that word’s probably Christmas… but is it the third or the fourth word?)

Isobel’s laughing so much… I’m rubbish at this game.

What’s that… mad face… mouth moving?  Is that a puppet… a cartoon character?

And second word… two syllables again: drugs, dreaming… or singing… or is it panic?  Just not sure?

What is she doing now?  I can’t even describe that!

The actor bows, holds her hands behind her back and smiles.

What? We’re out of time?  We have to guess now?[*]

“How will we know if we’re right?”

I don’t know… maybe we’ll just choose the best route?

[*] Other films to have a go at: Bad Santa, Love Actually, Jingle All The Way, It’s A Wonderful Life, The Polar Express, A Christmas Carol…
